1. Location

KANAZAWA is located in the center of Japan, 2-3hrs from Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya. If you are traveling Japan, stop by in Kanazawa before going to other places! KOKOYUI is only 5 minutes walking from Kanazawa station. It is very convenient to go to Kanazawa’s favorite places.

2. Everything Included

Our plans start from JPY4000 per person. Plans include all the items and services necessary to wear and to go out in kimono; a set of kimono outfit with kimono, undergarment, obi-belt, obi accessories, bag, tabi-socks, zori-sandales, hair accessories for women and so on. 　

3. Quality & Comfort

We offer not only synthetic kimono but also silk kimono to rent. We would love you to try silk kimono, which has soft touch and elegance in appearance.
You might think wearing kimono is uncomfortable, but it is not true. It used be worn as a daily clothes and still worn by many people.

4. For Everyone

Kimono is available for everyone regardless of gender, age, body-shape.
It is especially popular among women, but there are kimonos for men and children too! That means all the family members can experience kimono! One person, family, group of friends, all welcome! Let’s share a special moment together!
We can be flexible to fit you in kimono in accordance with your body shape or height, such as using two obi-belts and special undergarment. It might not be the usual way to dress up, but we have various ideas and techniques as we want everyone to enjoy wearing kimono!

5.Natural Look

 No special facial make-up is required for wearing kimono! We do not put white make-up like Geisha, but we will keep your natural beauty!

6.For travelers with tight schedule

  Do you want to try wearing kimono, but is your travelling schedule too tight go out with it?

If you have 1-1.5 hour, you can get dressed in kimono and take memorable picture at KOKOYUI! Photo/s will be given to you straightaway.

7.Photo Studio

There is a photo studio in the same building. Some plans include photo-shooting session or you can add it as an option. You will have photo/s and data (depending on plans) straightaway.

During the photo session, please feel free to use Japanese style umbrellas (wa-gasa), swords etc.

8.Friendly Staff

Our friendly staffs welcome you and help you choosing and fitting kimono! If you have questions or need advice, please feel free to ask them!
